Are You Hurting

Dear Friend-

Do you feel shame, betrayal, rejection, or pain? There is someone who can relate to you. You are not alone in this. Jesus is the One who can truly see and understand your heart. He sees your pain and understands what you’ve been through.

Jesus Christ is our help. He can restore all that is broken, including you and whatever you have been through. He makes all things new and clean. He can forgive you for whatever wrong you have done, if you will just bring it to Him and ask for His forgiveness. He makes streams in the desert and roads through the wilderness. He makes beauty out of ashes. He restores what the locust have eaten. He can give you a new life filled with hope and promise. He can rebuild what was torn down or taken from you. God is so Good. He cares for you. He loves you and He wants the best for you.

God sees you right where you are at. He does not want you hurting. So give your heart, your life, and your pain to the Lord. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and as you begin to give over the areas of pain, regret, shame, sorrow, and rejection, He can heal those painful memories and experiences that have hurt you.

He can restore to you what was taken. He can make you whole and give you a new emotionally healthy heart. You can love again. Give Him a chance. He is real. Put your hope in Christ. Let Him do miraculous things in, through, and for you. If you choose to let Him, He can bring you the healing you need. Trust in Him, walk with Him, and be yoked to Him. He will take care of you. He loves you more than any one person ever can or will. He is all that you need.

If you accept His gift of salvation, He can make your life new. You will never be alone. There is so much more than the here and now. You can look forward to an eternity with Christ! Put your hope in Christ. He can heal you, take care of you, and make a new way for you.

If you would like to accept Christ’s gift of Salvation, here is an example prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus-

I come before you acknowledging You are Almighty God, Creator of the Universe. Please forgive me for all my sins now and in the past, you may speak of specific instances that you would like to repent of and seek forgiveness. Please come into my heart and life and be my Savior. Thank you for dying for me and my sin on the cross. Please help me to seek You and draw near to You, and may You rule over my flesh, as I now turn to follow you. Please, become Lord of my life. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
